Those Kept Close— A Peyton Fox Memoir

fictional autobiography of an elected public servant from
adolescence to the White House

About The Book

Peyton Fox has spent his life living up to the expectations of a powerful family legacy built on military service, leadership, and public duty. But after a dangerous SEAL mission leaves him wounded and struggling with memory loss, Peyton is forced to confront the emotional truths and unresolved relationships that have shaped his life.

As he recovers, fragments of his past begin to resurface, including childhood pressures, lost love, family conflict, and the growing realization that success and identity are not always the same thing.

Set between the coastal world of Maine and the political landscape of Washington, this compelling multigenerational story explores sacrifice, healing, ambition, and the emotional cost of leadership. Rich in character development and emotional depth, the novel is a powerful journey of resilience, redemption, and rediscovering one’s true self.
